- yes u shuld take your dog to obideience class. it can be eseinxpve but also do not let your dog off the leash unless in confined areas your dog can get distracted by other things like birds or other dogs and start chasing them and all of a sudden get hit by a car. so please keep your dog on a leash unless in confind areas like a dog park.References : took my dog to obidience class and off leash a lot
