The Mid-South Fair - - 2009 Information

For many Memphians, autumn just wouldn't be complete without a visit to the Mid South Fair. From roller coasters to Pronto Pups, farm animals to carnival games, there is something for everyone. Beginning in 2009, however, the Mid-South Fair is moving from the fairgrounds in Memphis to a new site in DeSoto County. Here is all you need to know to make the most of your visit to the 2009 Mid South Fair.

DeSoto Civic Center
4560 Venture Drive
Southaven, MS 38671

Dates and Times:

September 25 - October 4, 2009
10:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Prices:

Admission: $10.00 ages 7 and older, free for children 6 and under
Parking: Priority parking is $5, free off site parking is also available.
Wristbands: $20

Wristband Days:

All weekdays (Sept. 25 & Sept. 28 – Oct. 2) – 3pm until 11pm
Sunday, Oct. 4 – Noon until 9pm

Concerts:

  • TBA

Other Fair Attractions:

The Mid-South Fair features a variety of attractions and exhibits for visitors of all ages including a daily circus, a youth talent contest, food eating contests, farm animals, and famous fair food like Pronto Pups, funnel cakes, and even fried Twinkies.
