About the Festival:

If you love ice cream (and who doesn't?!) then you certainly won't want to miss the Big Scoop Ice Cream Festival. This annual festival offers a fun]filled day of ice cream, treats, games, and entertainment. Festival features include Children's Activity Land, appearances by Ronald McDonald and Rocky Redbird, live music and dance, a magic show, and of course--ice cream! Attendees can sample a variety of delicious ice cream flavors, frozen treats, and cookies.

About the Ronald McDonald House:

The Big Scoop Ice Cream Festival benefits the Ronald McDonald House, a "home]away]from]home" for families who are in Memphis while their child is receiving treatment for cancer or another catastrophic illness at St. Jude Childrenfs Research Hospital. All families stay completely free of charge.

Date and Time:

September 6, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Admission:

Advance tickets are $5 and are now available at Ronald McDonald House of Memphis or pick them up at all Schnucks locations beginning August 22nd. Admission is $7 per person at the door; children ages three and under get in free.

"First come, first served complimentary parking will be available at the Toyota Center Parking Garage (corner of Third and Madison).
