India Fest is one of many cultural festivals in the Memphis area and is an annual showcase of the rich and diverse Indian culture in Memphis. It is hosted by the India Association of Memphis and is open to the entire community. The highlight of every India Fest is the food and arts bazaar. Food stalls representing cuisine from various regions of India are offered by local residents, as well as by restaurants from the greater Memphis area. In addition, many booths feature arts and retail goods from India such as clothing, jewelry, and home decor.

Activities throughout the day include cooking demonstrations, musical and dance performances, and cultural presentations. Family-friendly events will include a Kid’s Corner with arts and crafts, face painting/henna, educational sessions, and storytelling.

The theme of the 2011 India Fest is "A Passage Through India" and offers an exploration of the many different geographical areas of India. On the following pages, get a sneak peak with photos from the 2010 festival. Festival information for 2011 is below:
