January 1st - 15th

January 1:
  • Liberty Bowl Parade
    Head downtown for the annual Liberty Bowl Parade on Beale Street. The event is free and begins at 3:00 p.m.
January 2:
  • Liberty Bowl
    See the University of Kentucky take on East Carolina University in the 50th annual Liberty Bowl. The game begins at 4:00 p.m.
  • Grizzlies Home Game
    See the Memphis Grizzlies take on the Spurs at 7:00 p.m. at the FedEx Forum.
January 3:
  • Tigers Home Game
    See the University of Memphis Tigers take on Lamar at 7:00 p.m. at the FedEx Forum.
January 4:
  • Bridal Rhapsody Extravaganza
    If there is a wedding in your future, you won't want to miss this bridal show at the Agricenter. The event takes place from 11:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and admission is $10.00.
  • Sunday Brunch at the Peabody
    Enjoy a fabulous feast from 11:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. on the Peabody skyway. Cost is $31.95 for adults and $12 for children 6-12. Kids 5 and under are free.
  • Grizzlies Home Game
    See the Memphis Grizzlies take on the Mavericks at 3:00 p.m. at the FedEx Forum.

    See the University of Memphis Tigers take on Marshall at 8:00 p.m. at the FedEx Forum.

    If you like monster trucks you won't want to miss this special event at the FedEx Forum. The show starts at 7:30.

    Check out all of the events going on in honor of the King's birthday.
