Memphis Time and Temperature

Need to know the time, temperature, or weather forecast and don't have easy access to a computer? Memphis has a handy phone line for just that purpose. Just dial the number and a recorded voice speaks a quick advertisement and then gives you the correct time and temperature. After that, Todd Demers from Channel 3 gives you the weather forecast. I don't know how long this line has been in operation but I remember my own grandmother teaching me the number nearly 30 years ago.
