Memphis Area Farmers Markets

There's nothing like the fresh fruits and veggies of summer. And while some grocery stores do a pretty good job of stocking good produce, they don't hold a candle to the freshness you'll find at a farmers market. Farmers markets are the next best thing to picking your own produce and there are three of them right here in the Memphis area.

Memphis Farmers Market

The Memphis Farmers Market is a weekly non-profit market located at the Central Station downtown. In addition to fruits and vegetables, you can also find fresh flowers, farm-fresh meat, eggs, and dairy products, and homemade cheeses, breads, and other treats.
Address:South Front Street at G.E. Patterson in Memphis
Dates: Mid-April through October (specific dates announced annually on website)
Times: Saturdays, 7:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

The Agricenter's Farmer's Market

The Agricenter's Farmer's Market is open six days a week for your shopping convenience. In addition to fruits and vegetables, the market features vendors selling herbs, flowers, baked goods, and even handmade jewelry and crafts.

Dates: May through October (specific dates announced annually on website)
Times: Monday-Friday: 7:30 am-5:30 pm
Saturday: 7:00am-5:30 pm
Sunday: Closed

Farmers' Market at the Garden

The Farmers' Market at the Garden is held in the Pine Grove of the Memphis Botanic Garden each Wednesday afternoon all season long. In addition to produce the market features vendors selling hand-crafted chocolates, gourmet vegan and vegetarian treats, fresh honey, and more.

Dates: Late April through October (specific dates announced annually on website)
Times: Wednesdays, 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
