Every year, on the days leading up to Elvis' birthday, Memphis celebrates with a variety of Elvis-themed events. Here is this year's birthday celebration schedule. For more information on any of these events or to buy tickets, call 800-238-2000 or visit the Elvis Presley Enterprises website.

THURSDAY, JANUARY 5

  • Graceland Trivia Tour
    4:30 p.m.
    Graceland Ticket Office
    Tour Graceland and the Elvis Presley Automobile Museum while answering trivia questions. Adult and junior tours will be available and there will be prizes for both adults and juniors. Tickets for adults are $32.00; children 7-12 are $15.00; children 6 and under are free.
  • Club Elvis
    8:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.
    Elvis Presley Car Museum
    Private party featuring Elvis music, dancing, and a cash bar.Tickets are $25.00.
  • Southern Birthday Breakfast
    11:59 p.m. - 1:30 a.m.
    Chrome Grille Restaurant, Graceland Plaza
    After Club Elvis, head over to the Chrome Grill for a midnight breakfast including scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, grits, biscuits, and drink. Tickets are $15.00.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 6

  • Fan Club Presidents' Event
    10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
    Memphis Marriott East, 2625 Thousand Oaks Blvd. 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Come out to celebrate Elvis Presley's fan clubs. The event will feature speakers, music, and EPE updates. Tickets are $12.00.
  • Official Elvis Insiders Reception and Graceland Tour
    6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
    Elvis Insiders members ONLY. Includes a private tour of Graceland followed by a reception with special guests. Tickets are $49.00 for adults; $26.00 for children 7-12; children 6 and under are free.

SATURDAY, JANUARY 7


  • Gospel Concert Celebration
    8:00 a.m. - 9:15 a.m.
    Graceland Ticket Pavilion
    Enjoy the gospel music Elvis loved performed by former members of J.D. Sumner & The Stamps: Bill Baize, Donnie Sumner, Larry Strickland and Ed Hill. Also performing will be gospel group Soul City from First Assembly of God, Elvis’ home church for many years. Tickets are $25.00.
  • Terry Mike Jeffrey Live in Ticket Pavilion
    11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
    Enjoy free, live Elvis music by Terry Mike Jeffrey.
  • Conversations on Elvis
    Memphis Marriott East, 2625 Thousand Oaks Blvd.
    2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
    Hear from speakers who knew Elvis personally. Tickets are $20.00.
  • Memphis Symphony Orchestra presents Elvis Birthday Pops
    The Cannon Center for the Performing Arts, 255 North Main Street
    8:00 p.m. Tribute concert featuring Terry Mike Jeffrey and his band, along with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra. Tickets start at $15. Call (901) 537-2525 for tickets.
  • D&N's and Elvis Meetup's Gospel Tribute to Elvis
    Graceland Gates
    11:59 p.m.
    Join D&N's Elvis Presley Fan Club and the Elvis Meetup Fan Club at the gates of Graceland at midnight on Elvis' birthday to sing gospel songs and Happy Birthday to Elvis.

SUNDAY, JANUARY 8

  • Elvis Presley Day Ceremony
    Front lawn of Graceland
    9:30 a.m.
    Birthday ceremony with EPE officials and Memphis and Shelby County officials. Admission is free and birthday cake will be served following the event.
MULTIPLE DATE EVENTS
  • Graceland Tours
    Tours of Graceland Mansion, the Elvis Presley Automobile Museum, Elvis' personal jets, the Sincerely Elvis Museum and Private Presley are available daily.
  • Free Walk-Up Times for The Meditation Garden
    Visit the Meditation Garden at Graceland where Elvis is buried--for free from 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. daily. There will also be nightly walkups from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on January 5, 7, and 8.
  • Elvis Bingo
    Heartbreak Hotel
    January 5th and 6th -- 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.; 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.; 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.; and 3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Pick up tickets in hotel lobby 30 minutes before each game (no children under 12 will be admitted).
  • Graceland Stable Tours
    Graceland
    January 8-8 -- 11:00 a.m., 12:00 noon, 1:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m.
    Tour the stables at Graceland and see items that Elvis and his friends used such as saddles, western wear, and more. Tickets are $15 for adults, $13.50 for seniors 62+ and students 13-18 & with college ID, and $8 for kids.
  • Meet and Greet with Betty Harper
    Everything Elvis
    January 7 & 8: 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
    Meet artist Betty Harper and see her original Elvis portraits which will be available for sale.
