Memphis Area Christmas Parades

If you want to attend a Christmas parade, the Mid-South has plenty to choose from. In fact, since many of them take place on staggered dates, you could actually attend several. If you know of a parade that I've missed, please send me an email at memphis@aboutguide.com.

Arlington

Date: December 1, 2012
4:30 p.m.
The Arlington Christmas parade will begin at Chester Street and Hayes Road. It will then proceed north on Chester, concluding at Historic Depot Square with the lighting of the official town Christmas tree.

Bartlett

December 8, 2012 4:00 p.m.
The Bartlett Christmas parade will include marching bands, clowns, floats, antique cars, horses, and more, and will proceed west down Stage Road, begining at Elmore Park Road and ending at Shelby Street.

Collierville

November 30, 2012
7:00 p.m.
The 36th annual Collierville Christmas parade will travel along Byhalia Road between Market Street and Frank Road.

Germantown

December 8, 2012
2:00 p.m.
The parade will begin at the corner of Kimbrough Road and Farmington Boulevard, then go west on Farmington Boulevard to Exeter Road, turn north onto Exeter Road, and will end at the Germantown Athletic Club.

Hernando

December 3, 2012
6:30 p.m.
The Hernando Christmas parade will travel from the intersection of Mt. Pleasant Road and Commerce Street, to the historic Hernando Court Square, and ends at Hernando Baptist Church on East Center Street.

Horn Lake

December 8, 2012
7:00 p.m.
The Horn Lake Christmas parade will begin at Fire Station No. 1 on Tulane Road and proceed south to Latimer Lakes Park. At the park, the Candy Land Christmas Market will be set up for Christmas shopping and festivities.

Millington

December 1, 2012
3:00 p.m.
The Millington Christmas parade will begin at Bill Knight and Newport, then right on Navy Road, right on Church Street, another right on Bill Knight, and will end at the starting point.

Munford

December 1, 2012
5:30 p.m.
The Celebrate Munford Christmas Parade will begin at Munford High School on McLaughlin Drive. From there the parade makes a right turn onto Munford Avenue, a left turn onto Tipton Road, followed by another left onto Brick Street, and a final turn onto College Street. The parade ends at Munford City hall where the tree lighting ceremony takes place.

Olive Branch

December 1, 2012
2:00 p.m.
The Olive Branch Christmas parade will begin at Olive Branch Elementary and make its way around Olive Branch's Old Towne. The parade will include bands, floats, horses, motorcycles, performers, and Santa Claus.

Southaven

December 1, 2012
7:00 p.m.
The Southaven Christmas parade will travel north on Highway 51 from First Commercial Drive to Main Street, then east on Main Street to Northwest Drive, and end at City Hall.

Whitehaven

November 17, 2012
9:00 a.m.
The annual Whitehaven Christmas parade will begin at Southland Mall and go north, ending at Craft Street near Graceland.

West Memphis

December 4, 2012
7:00 p.m.
The West Memphis Christmas parade will begin at Meadowbrook Shopping Mall on East Broadway, travel west down Broadway and end on Missouri Street.
