Marion is a small town located in Eastern Arkansas. The county seat of Crittenden County, Marion is conveniently situatated just a few miles from downtown Memphis.

History:

Marion was founded in 1836. This is the same year that Arkansas became a state. The town is said to be named after Revolutionary War hero General Francis Marion.
