If you want to make sure Santa Claus gets your wish list this year, you will have plenty of opportunities to visit him. Here are just some of his 2007 Memphis area appearances.
Special Santa Appearance - December 5th ONLY:
On Friday, December 5, 2008, Santa Claus will be at the Singleton Community Center at 7266 Third Road in Bartlett at 6:00 p.m. Watch the lighting of Bartlett's Christmas tree and then visit with Santa!
Special Santa Appearance --November 30th and December 1st ONLY:
On Friday, December 5 and Saturday, December 6, 2008, Santa Claus will be at the "Journey to the North Pole" event at the Germantown Centre. He will be available for visits between 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Germantown Centre is located at 1801 Exeter in Germantown.
Santa Claus House on Wells Station Road:
Sponsored by St. James Catholic Church, the Santa Claus House has been a Memphis tradition for more than thirty years. Located at 1491 Wells Station, the Santa Claus House offers a personalized Santa experience. As your child approaches Santa, you are directed to a sound booth where you tell Santa about your child via an earpiece carefully concealed in his ear. Santa will know your child by name and will be fully aware if he or she has been bad or good! Please bring a canned good for the needy when you come for your visit. Santa will be available nightly from 6:00 p.m -- 9:00 p.m. through the 23rd.
Santa at the Enchanted Forest:
The Enchanted Forest is a fun excursion for the whole family. This fantasy-land is located in the Pink Palace museum and features dozens of decorated Christmas trees, animated winter scenes, a gingerbread village, and more. At the end of the tour through the forest, Santa is ready and waiting to visit with the kids. A photographer is on hand, but parents are welcomed to take their own photos, too.
Oak Court Mall:
Santa Claus will be at the Oak Court Mall through December 24, 2008. Click here for Santa's hours as they change almost daily.
Southland Mall:
Santa Claus will be at the Southland Mall through December 24, 2008. Santa's hours Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. - 8 pm. and Sunday 12 noon - 6 p.m.
Wolfchase Galleria:
Santa Claus will be at the Wolfchase Galleria Mall from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., through December 23, 2008. A photographer will be available to take pictures.
