Memphis offers a great selection of New Year's Eve events to help you ring in 2010! From family activities to adult-only celebrations, here are some of the best:

New Year's Eve Zoo Snooze:

A New Year's Eve bash just for kids ages 6-12, the Zoo Snooze is an overnight event. Kids will get a chance to take a moonlight "safari" through the Zoo, enjoy crafts and games, and countdown to the New Year with snacks and party favors. You must register by Monday, December 28, 2009

New Year's at Noon:

Don't want the kids to stay up until midnight? Take them to the Children's Museum of Memphis for a special New Year's Eve celebration from 10:00 a.m. -- 1:00 p.m. Activities include special music and games and are included with regular museum admission.

Memphis Bop Club New Year's Eve Bash:

This New Year's Eve Bash will feature dancing to the sounds of bop, swing, shag, and country at the Marriott Hotel off of American Way. In addition, attendees receive party favors, a champagne toast at midnight, and breakfast at 1:00 a.m. In addition, those in attendance can book a room at the hotel for $79.00.

Countdown on Beale:

Enjoy live music in Handy Park plus festivities up and down Beale Street. Then, count down to Midnight with the Hard Rock Guitar Drop and fireworks from the rooftops.

Clark Tower New Year's Eve Fireworks/Tower Room Party:

For the second year in a row, fireworks will be launched from the roof of the Clark Tower in east Memphis. Although the fireworks will be visible for miles, you might want to also attend the New Year's party in the Tower Room. The admission fee includes a meal, tax, gratuity, a champagne toast, live music, and more.
