• Beale Street Music Festival
  The Beale Street Music Fest is one of Memphis' most anticipated events each year. It features 3 days of live performances from artists such as Sheryl Crow, Santana, My Chemical Romance, and dozens more.
• Parade of Homes
  If you are looking for your dream home, you won't want to miss this year's parade of homes. More than 160 houses will be open for you to come in and tour. The tours run from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m.

May 3:

May 6:

• Collierville Fair on the Square
  Head to Collierville's historic town square for their annual festival that will include arts, crafts, children's activities, entertainment, food, and more. The festival runs from 12:00 noon -- 5:00 p.m.

  May 9:

  • Johnny Mathis in Concert
    This 1950's super-star will take the stage at the Orpheum Theatre at 8:00 p.m. for one night only. Tickets start at $27.

  May 13:

  • Job Fair
    Looking for a job? Then you won't want to miss the Commercial Appeal job fair being held at the Agricenter International from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

  May 15:

  • World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest
    Head down to Tom Lee Park for this world-renowned event. Thousands of teams go head to head to see who makes the world's best barbecue. Visitors to the contest can participate in the judging for the People's Choice Award.
  • Alicia Keys in Concert
    This Grammy winning R&B crooner will be live in concert at the FedEx Forum at 7:30 p.m. Also performing will be Ne-Yo and Jordin Sparks. Tickets start at $39.50.
  • Redbirds Home Game
    See the Redbirds take on Oklahoma at AutoZone Park. The game begins at 7:05 p.m.
