On About.com's Memphis site, readers are choosing the best barbecue restaurants in the Mid-South. We Memphians know our barbecue and we have strong opinions on whose is best. The Readers' Choice Awards give you the opportunity to make your vote count.
From Jan. 13 through Feb. 4, we accepted nominations for hundreds of award categories across About.com -- including best barbecue restaurant in Memphis. Based on the nominations received, five finalists have been chosen.
Starting Feb. 11, we invite you to vote for your favorite finalist in this and other categories. Voting will close on March 8, with winners announced March 15. There's no prize -- just the bragging rights that come with getting recognized by the readers of a leading website owned by The New York Times Co.
