In order to enroll your child in a DeSoto County school, you must present school officials with the following documentation:
Child's Proof of Identification:
All of the following must be presented:
- Certified copy of birth certificate (not the mother's copy)
- Shot record on Mississippi Compliance Form 121
- Social Security card
- Withdrawal or final report card from previous school (if applicable)
Proof of Residence:
Three of the following must be presented to prove residency of child's legal guardian:
- Mortgage document or property deed with name and address
- Apartment or home lease contract (no hand-written documents)
- Electricity, gas, or water bill dated within the last two months
- DeSoto County car tag registration
