August 1:

  • Tennessee Sales Tax Holiday
    Enjoy a tax-free weekend of shopping when you buy certain clothing, computer, and school supply items.
  • Gone With the Wind
    This screening of the Civil War classic is part of the Orpheum’s Summer Movie Series. The film starts at 7:15 and tickets are $5.00.

    See the Memphis Redbirds take on New Orleans at AutoZone Park. The game starts at 7:05 p.m.

August 9:

  • Crosby, Stills, and Nash in Concert
    This “Live at the Garden” event will take place at the Memphis Botanic Garden at 8:30 p.m.
  • Redbirds Home Game
    See the Memphis Redbirds take on New Orleans at AutoZone Park. The game starts at 6:05 p.m.
  • Elvis Week
    Check out all the Elvis Week events going on around town on this date.
