April 1st - 15th

April 1:

  • Grizzlies Home Game
    See the Memphis Grizzlies take on the Wizards at the FedEx Forum. The game begins at 7:00 p.m.
  • The Color Purple
    See the inspiring story based on the book and the movie live on stage at the Orpheum Theatre. Showtime is 7:30 p.m.

April 2:

  • Cooper Young Night Out
    Head down to Cooper Young to sample the best the neighborhood has to offer. Enjoy specials and discounts at participating shops and restaurants.
  • The Color Purple
    See the inspiring story based on the book and the movie live on stage at the Orpheum Theatre. Showtime is 7:30 p.m.

April 3:

  • Wildflower Plant Sale
    The Dixon Gallery and Gardens will be holding their annual wildflower plant sale from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
  • Bellevue Passion Play
    The the dramatic reenactment of Christ's passion and ressurection will be performed live at Bellevue Baptist Church at 7:00 p.m.
  • Grizzlies Home Game
    See the Memphis Grizzlies take on the Mavs at the FedEx Forum. The game begins at 7:00 p.m.
  • The Color Purple
    See the inspiring story based on the book and the movie live on stage at the Orpheum Theatre. Showtime is 8:00 p.m.

April 4:

  • Cat Show
    Come see show cats on display as they compete for prizes at the Agricenter from 9:00 a.m. -- 5:00 p.m.
  • American Muscle Car Cruz-In
    Head down to Olive Branch's Old Towne and watch as a parade of muscle cars cruises by at 6:30 p.m.
  • Old Tyme Bluegrass & Barbeque
    This annual event held at the DeSoto County Museum features bluegrass, barbeque, and rich history.
  • Wildflower Plant Sale
    The Dixon Gallery and Gardens will be holding their annual wildflower plant sale from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
  • Bellevue Passion Play

    Take the kids out for one of the Easter Egg hunts going on around the Mid-South.

    See the inspiring story based on the book and the movie live on stage at the Orpheum Theatre. Showtimes are 2:00 p.m. and 8:0 p.m.

April 5:

  • Cat Show
    Come see show cats on display as they compete for prizes at the Agricenter from 9:00 a.m. -- 4:00 p.m.
  • Bridal Rhapsody Extravaganza
    If there is a wedding in your future, you won't want to miss the spring Bridal Rhapsody Extravaganza held at the Pink Palace Museum from noon until 4:30 p.m.

April 9:

April 10:

  • Requiem
    This special presentation of John Milford Rutter's Requiem will be held at Lindenwood Christian Church at 5:30 p.m.
  • Grizzlies Home Game
    See the Memphis Grizzlies take on the Suns at the FedEx Forum. The game begins at 7:00 p.m.

April 11:

  • Death Cab for Cutie in Concert
    See this indie rock band live on stage at the Orpheum Theatre. Tickets are $30 and showtime is 7:30 p.m.
  • Easter Egg Hunts
    Take the kids out for one of the Easter Egg hunts going on around the Mid-South.
  • Elmwood Tour
    Go on a docent-led tour of Memphis' oldest active cemetery. The tour begins at 10:00 a.m. and admission is $7.

April 12:

  • Easter Brunch
    Visit one of these Memphis area restaurants for a special Easter brunch.
