Thanksgiving Dinner

By November 12, 2012

Follow me on:

Can you believe that Thanksgiving is just a week and a half away? Once again, another year has slipped right past me. Fortunately, I don't have to do the cooking this year but I am looking forward to some familiar Thanksgiving favorites--turkey, cornbread dressing, green bean casserole, and pumpkin pie. I have learned, though, that not everybody eats these traditional foods on Thanksgiving. For instance, I have a friend who insists that goose, not turkey, is the preferred bird for the holiday dinner. I have another friend who believes Thanksgiving is incomplete without mincemeat pie.

So what's going to be on your plate in two weeks? Leave a comment below and tell us.

Oh, and if you don't feel like cooking, we've got a list of Memphis area restaurants that will be serving Thanksgiving dinner.
