Every year during the week surrounding the anniversary of his death, Memphis celebrates the music and life of Elvis Presley. The crazy thing is, there are far more visitors than locals who come out for the celebration. In fact, I know very few Memphians who attend. Still, though, it's kind of a big deal around here.
Elvis Week 2012 marks 35 years since his death. Beginning August 10th there will be days of Elvis-themed activities going on all around Memphis. These activities include concerts, dances, tours, and of course, the candlelight vigil at Graceland. Check out the resources below for the complete line-up and more Elvis information.
