Cheapest Gas in Town

Wednesday January 7, 2009
As gas prices slowly start to rise again, I'm noticing that most people aren't complaining. Why? Because even at $1.80 a gallon, we are still paying far less than we were a few months ago. This makes me suspect that $4 a gallon gas prices were just a ploy to make us thankful when we spend less than $2! And if you want to know the truth, I am thankful. Today's prices are a lot easier on my budget than the prices we paid earlier last year. Nonetheless, I am still intent on finding the cheapest gas in Memphis. Granted, I may only save a few centers per gallon but that can equate to a dollar or two per tank of gas. After a year, I could save $100 on fuel for my car. It may not be a fortune, but these days, every little bit helps.
